A player slot will be reservered for the champion of the Shadowverse World Grand Prix JCG Online Qualifier.

Up to 14,400 players are able to enter the JCG Online Qualifier. During the first phase, players will be split into groups of 8 to play in a single elimination tournament for 4 days over 2 weeks. Roughly 1,800 players remaining will advance to the second phase, where they will play in a swiss draw style tournament. The 8 remaining winners will be invited to battle it out at the playoffs in Tokyo on September 23.
